((This one is inspired by the one of the greatest artists of all. Mother nature The title says it all. I wrote this after watching a butterfly hatch from its cacoon.))
Silver gleaming crescent moon, High sunrise on the noon. Feeling heat upon my face, As against time I do race. People come and people go, While children play in the snow. Drink deeply, and dream, While veins show like a seam. Razor edge of shining steel, It's quick bite I do feel. Copper, bitter, metallic taste, life ending in a haste. Light fades to coming night, Yet I feel a newfound might. Strength untold, found within, A new meaning, I can live again. Fight for right,I smell the fear, When they cower, my voice they do hear. I am the guardian of this plane, My power will never wax or wane.

Very, very nicely done. For those of us who truely understand it.
